* Pearl Harbor Day December 7th, 1987 I entered Police Academy as the first all city recruit class-separating from the county academy.
* Initially assigned to the Deer Street station of District Eight and immediately started burning through training officers !
* Detective Leyshock was abruptly transferred from the undercover narcotics unit and became my mentor and partner in the District Eight Detective Bureau
* I was transferred to the Undercover Vice Unit in 1994 and for the next two years arrested prostitutes and perverts.
* promoted to Sergeant in 1996
* Spent 4 years in the Internal Affairs Division and became the Deputy Commander there working alongside Sergeant Producer John, who hated that assignment with a passion.
*Promoted to Lieutenant in 2000 and assigned to District Five to protect Piekutowski’s meat market.
* Promoted to Captain in 2010 after spending four years as Commander of the 911 dispatch center.
*Assigned to Downtown District Four as the protest era began and changed police work forever.
* Promoted to Major in 2016 and reunited with Lt. Colonel Leyshock as we navigated continual protests and violence against police for the remainder of my police career.
* retired in 2020
* spent 3 years as President of a Missouri marijuana company capitalizing on Tommy Sawyers love for our products.
